When I saw the photos of the new spring / summer collection 2013 by Isabel Marant, I had immediately feel like summer.
Jumped to my mind memories of distant countries I have visited so long ago, memories of large and ocher colored beaches, her embroidery, such as those of the tissues of an India so far away but so present in my thoughts, they made me do a step back in time arousing in me a nostalgia.
However, her prints also describe the Hawaii and then advances strongly the desire to sea and heading to places, perhaps, never visited.
Hibiscus and large flowers are printed on fabrics that Marant has modeled at her pleasure, creating clothes, costumes, robes and blouses worn by girls with hair in the wind, no structured hairstyles for these models.
One can devise a collection as Hippie Chic... so easy, comfortable and light, her white shirt float leaving bare shoulders and postponing the mind to amber and scented sea skin.
Her embroidered and brilliant pants, are sporty but at the same time are so feminine that you can recognize them at first glance.
Those that these thin models are worn as dresses or chemises, for us mere mortals can be reinterpreted as little longer shirts, however the fashion of recent times helps us with its proportions, more comfortable than years ago.
The colors are black and white mixed with red, ocher, burgundy and yellow, there's something for everyone!
